Stephen Agada is an emerging AI and Technology Policy professional with a strong interest in AI governance, digital policy, and responsible innovation. He currently serves as a Research Group Member at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), where he collaborates with a global network of experts to evaluate and analyze national AI laws, policies, and strategies. His work focuses on tracking developments in AI governance, regulation, transparency, and accountability across jurisdictions. He also contributed to the annual CAIDP AI and Democratic Values Index, a leading global assessment of countries' AI governance frameworks.
Before joining CAIDP, Stephen gained valuable legal and policy experience through internship placements at leading Nigerian law firms, including Banwo & Ighodalo, Stren & Blan Partners, and G. Elias & Co.
